# Rack-mounted optical switch switching equipment

Rack-mounted optical switch switching equipment consists of 1XN or NXM optical switches that can control the switching of 1XN or NXM optical paths. The equipment has an Ethernet RJ45 communication interface that can switch the optical path of each optical switch by command. Optical switching equipment plays a very important role in optical communication applications and is mainly used in: automatic switching protection of optical transmission systems, simulation test systems, optical sensing systems, production debugging of optical devices, etc.
