The NMU is a management module designed by DFT  specifically for the optical layer product series.  It  enables  comprehensive  management  of  the  entire  line  of optical  layer  communication products.  The  NMU  utilizes  a  high-speed  ARM  processor,  providing  powerful  data  processing capabilities.  It  offers  management  interfaces  such  as  graphical  interface  (NetView),  web-based interface (Web), and command-line interface (CLI) to facilitate device management.  It is designed based on a client-server architecture, offering server versions (server-side and client-side) as well as standalone versions, suitable for network deployments of various scales . It can help network operators and enterprise users at all levels build suitable network management systems.

   Hot-swappable  design ensures  uninterrupted operation  of the  service  cards  even  in  case of

failure.

   Supports local and remote online upgrades without affecting the normal operation of the service

cards .

   Supports  SNMP-based  unified  network  management  platform  with  CLI,  Web,  and  NetView

(graphical interface) management interfaces.

   Supports in-band and out-of-band cascading management and provides 3 SFP optical ports, 2

RJ45 electrical ports, and 1 Console serial port.

   Offers  powerful  multi-level  network  topology   management  capabilities,  enabling  fast  and

automatic discovery of network topology and generating intuitive graphical representations.

   Adheres to TMN standards, providing functions such as device management, monitoring and

deployment, software upgrade management, configuration file management, alarm management, and performance management, achieving comprehensive network management from the device level to the network level.
